Environmental Skills Development

WESSA provides training, education and skills development programmes to private individuals, corporates and all spheres of government, with an extensive range of courses designed to address the critical scarcity of the skills that are required to drive a green economy.

WESSA’s training courses provide an essential link between people and the environment and cut across WESSA’s core focus areas of environmental education, water, biodiversity, waste, energy and environmental legislation. The courses place emphasis on developing hands-on, practical skills, exploring situated knowledge in the context of pressing environmental issues and instilling a sense of pride and purpose.
