Marc is the managing principal and a key man in the Metier Sustainable Private Equity Practice. He has been integral in the creation and management of the Metier Sustainable Capital Practice which targets investment in renewable energy, energy efficiency, water and waste in Southern Africa.
Marc gained significant development experience as a founder of the Bokpoort CSP project, which is now commissioned, and garnered multiple awards including project finance deal of the year, energy project of the year, renewable energy project of the year and African community project of the year.
Representing c. $500m of total investment, the project has the largest molten salt storage capability relative to its nameplate of 50MW globally, and is located in the Northern Cape. Prior experience includes CEO of a software business, equity analysis and merchant banking.
