Leadership Team

Melenie has 25 years of experience in HR strategy and planning, performance management, talent acquisition and retention, labour law compliance, employee relations, succession planning, conflict resolution and mediation, as well as facilitation and payroll.

She will develop and implement the WESSA HR strategy and continue to build an organisational culture that fosters collaboration and a passion for environmental conservation.

At the heart of WESSA is our graduate staff, who work across all our programmes nationally for a minimum period of 12 months. We are excited that Mel brings experience in both the management of skills development and internship programmes.

She will play a fundamental role in the WESSA Senior Management and ExCO team.
